How often does electrical wiring need to be checked for safety?

Most homes should have a professional electrical safety inspection every other year. Our Home Care Club includes a 57-point electrical check on that schedule to verify wiring, panel loads, grounding, GFCI/AFCI protection, and surge protection. Older homes or homes adding new loads like hot tubs, EV chargers, generators, or dedicated circuits should schedule an inspection sooner. We provide a detailed report and can perform immediate on-site repairs if we find hazards in Denver and nearby cities.
